Higher Education

Forbes sites several challenges facing higher education including; cost continues to top the list of concerns, renewal of the Higher Education Act, competency-based education (CBE) programs, and quality assurance in non-institutional learning. In addition, they are facing cost-value comparisons that question the investment in a degree at today’s prices.  There are more “post-traditional” students who are older, working part-time, and often commuting, either by car or, increasingly, the Internet. However, the availability of valid, widely accepted tools and methods needed to determine learning and skill acquisition are proving hard to come by.

All of the factors put tremendous pressure on the HCM delivery group to attract people with the correct skills to help Higher Education institutions navigate through these unique and profound changes.
